hello forum, this is my first actual post in here. so welcome me:P

anyways, I am trying to model the carrier skeleton of a tense structure and I have individual parts that will be needed to get modeled in order to complete the whole stuff (you will understand what I am so failing to explain in the 3dm file:D).

since the "tent" has a curved topology I am not able to use the command flow along curve and I was wondering how to do it with grasshopper. it's been a very long time I wanted to start learning grasshopper but was never able to start (long thing short I am a total noob with basic scripting knowledge)

the joints should be as seen in the picture but of course it might be good for the ease of understanding if someone might show me how to copy the thing on just one line first (or raw it is not that important, I just would love to understand the basic logic and then start to build on it)

Do you need to have de mesh shape follow the curves on the nurbs surface? and if so why do you think grasshopper will do a better job than the Rhino array along curve on surface command?
